Kårservice is looking for a cook for part-time work at our student union houses in Linköping & Norrköping.

Our operations include a restaurant, nightclub, conference facilities, banquets, and catering, primarily focused on students at Linköping University (LiU), but we also welcome the general public and companies.

We are looking for someone who wants a flexible part-time job in a dynamic environment. With us, you will have the opportunity to work with varied kitchen tasks, ranging from à la carte and pub service to larger banquets and catering. Kårservice's mission is to enable a richer student life. We create meeting places for a world-class student life at Linköping University and run several student union houses with unique conditions. Through collaboration with students, associations, and partners, we develop our operations and create more opportunities for community and experiences.

About the position

As a cook with us, you will work as needed at our student union houses in Linköping. The work includes everything from preparation and cooking of food to planning and collaboration with both permanent staff and voluntarily engaged students. We welcome you to contribute ideas to develop our menus and work with sustainable ingredients and methods.

Working hours vary and include daytime, evenings, and weekends based on the needs of the operation.

We are looking for you who:

• Has experience working in a kitchen, but formal education is not a requirement
• Likes to take responsibility and can work both independently and in a team
• Has basic knowledge of food hygiene (HACCP is an asset)
• Thrives in a dynamic environment and appreciates working in a student-oriented operation
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and can make yourself understood in English as we have many international students in our operation
