Arken Bistro AS is hiring seasonal staff

Arken Bistro AS is looking for a service-minded and flexible employee for seasonal work in our bistro in Skibotn, Northern Norway (120 km from Tromsø). During the summer season, we experience high activity, with many travelers and tourists from around the world stopping by.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, can cooperate well with others, and is also able to work independently when needed. Even when things get hectic, it is important to stay calm and find good solutions.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Operating the cash register
• Serving guests
• Cleaning and clearing tables
• Keeping the dining area clean and welcoming
• Other tasks related to the daily operation of the bistro

Qualifications

• Positive and service-oriented attitude
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a busy environment
• Ability to communicate in Norwegian or English
• Experience in hospitality is an advantage but not required

Arken Bistro AS opened on May 8, 2024, and is located next to the E6 highway in Skibotn in Northern Norway (120 km from Tromsø). The bistro welcomes many visitors from Norway and abroad, especially tourists and travelers passing through the area.

During the low season, the team consists of four employees. In the summer season, staffing increases to around 7-8 employees to handle the higher demand.
