Scandic Skärholmen & Scandic Kungens Kurva are located just south of Stockholm city, in close proximity to the Nordic region's most expansive business and shopping area. We are now looking for a Receptionist for Scandic Skärholmen.
Regardless of why the guest comes to us, few things are as appreciated as a friendly face welcoming them. You act as a host together with the rest of the hotel team and create a world-class guest experience.

What does the role entail?
As a receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring that our guests receive world-class service. You are the spider in the web, ensuring that the guest is always the focus. You go through the arrival list and pay attention to the details. You make sure that the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution in your back pocket. You solve most issues and are a star at turning an unhappy guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, as that is where you meet the most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, safety tasks, and sales work.
The work in the reception involves checking in and out hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing the information they need about their stay. You manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks related to guests and security. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.
The hotel is open 24/7, so it is important that you enjoy working shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).
We have a very close collaboration with our sister hotel Scandic Kungens Kurva, so it is important that you are open to working at both hotels when the need arises.
Who are you?
To fit into the role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and can handle many different things happening at the same time. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.
You also have experience and knowledge of working with a computer as a work tool.
Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage.
However, your personal qualities and attitude are the most important. To fit into the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
