RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant with planning responsibilities in home care, you will combine structure with heart, ensuring the right care reaches the right person at the right time. In your role as a nursing assistant with planning responsibilities in home care, you are the hub of the operation. This means you are responsible for planning and coordinating staff schedules, ensuring approved care measures are met based on competence and continuity. The starting point is always that our patients receive the help they need in a safe, professional, and efficient manner. You will also have regular contact with our patients, relatives, managers, colleagues, social workers, and other important internal and external professionals.
Your responsibilities include, among others:
- Planning home care measures and distributing work schedules to staff.
- Staffing during short- and long-term absences, based on needs and staffing economics.
- Receiving orders regarding both the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL), and planning new measures for both new and existing clients.
The planning assignment is shared with the existing planner/manager support on her days off, as well as when extra reinforcement is needed, during absences, and holidays. The remaining time, you will work in the home care group, with working hours scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends. We have work every third weekend and one light weekend every 12 weeks.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered for the position of nursing assistant with planning responsibilities, we require the following attributes and qualifications:
- Qualified nursing assistant with a protected professional title.
- Extensive experience working as a nursing assistant in home care.
- Previous experience working as a coordinator or planner in home care.
- Proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, with good reading comprehension.
- Good computer skills and experience working with various systems.
- Swedish Class B driver's license.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Previous experience and knowledge regarding staffing economics.
- Education in logistics or previous experience with planning in the Intraphone system.

The Home Care facility in Osby Municipality consists of three different units: Group D, Group E, and Group F. We operate throughout the entire central area of Osby and its outskirts. All professions work together in teams with the client's well-being as the focus.

There is an opportunity to combine the job with being a part-time firefighter. Assessment is made based on the needs of the operation.
