Job Description
Guidepoint Systems, a global provider of telematics and connected vehicle solutions, is expanding its operations in Sweden and is looking for a Regional Sales Representative with national responsibility.
This is a role for you who enjoys being out in the field, likes to build relationships, and is motivated by developing business. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and developing partnerships with car dealers across Sweden and introducing Guidepoint's solutions for connected vehicles and inventory management.
As a Regional Sales Representative, you are the company's face in the Swedish market. You will spend most of your time visiting customers – mainly car dealerships – where you identify business opportunities, present solutions, and develop long-term partnerships.
Guidepoint's solutions help car dealers gain better control over their vehicles, improve safety, and create new business opportunities through digital services and connected technology.
The role has a clear focus on new customer acquisition and business development. You will work independently with significant responsibility while receiving support from Guidepoint's European and American teams.
For the right person, there is also the opportunity to help shape the company's continued expansion in Sweden and Europe.
You will be responsible for:
- Visiting car dealers and resellers across Sweden (about four days a week) to identify business opportunities and develop new business
- Building relationships with decision-makers such as Dealer Principals, General Managers, Sales Managers, and those responsible for service and aftersales
- Presenting Guidepoint's platform and solutions for connected vehicles, including inventory management, theft protection, remote diagnostics, and battery health
- Driving the entire sales process from prospecting to closing the deal
- Working systematically with pipeline and follow-up in CRM systems (HubSpot)
- Developing and implementing a territorial sales strategy to increase market presence and sales
- Collaborating with international colleagues at Guidepoint for onboarding, training, and customer support
- Representing Guidepoint at relevant industry events and dealer meetings
Contract Type:
The role is set up as a consulting assignment where you work through your own company and invoice Guidepoint Systems monthly. The assignment is ongoing, and the compensation model consists of a competitive base salary and an attractive commission model with no upper limit.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a strong business drive who thrives in an independent role with a lot of customer contact.
You likely have experience in sales within the automotive industry or related sectors and are accustomed to working relationship-based with customers over time.
To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
- Experience in B2B sales, preferably in a field sales role
- Good understanding of how a car dealer's business operates
- Ability to build trust with decision-makers and drive business dialogues
- Interest in technology and digital solutions related to vehicles
- Strong self-motivation and good structure in your work
- Driver's license and the ability to travel extensively within Sweden
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in telematics, fleet management, or connected vehicle solutions
- Experience with SaaS solutions or technical products
- An established network within the car dealer sector
