JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Machine Buyer, you will primarily be responsible for purchasing spare parts for our machine workshops.

Within the Machine department, there are two additional Buyers with whom you will communicate and collaborate continuously in your tasks, contributing to Infranord's overall objectives regarding safety, profitability, and efficiency.

The role of Spare Parts Buyer is an independent and business-oriented position with a focus on operations. The work is carried out in close collaboration with internal customers, workshop colleagues, and managers. You will therefore work with, for example, purchasing documents, searching for new cost-effective stable suppliers that can meet our need for spare parts, negotiating, and evaluating suppliers.

You will be part of a driven and appreciated team that both enjoys work and constantly strives to create added value and increased quality for the company as a whole. You report to the Machine Maintenance Manager. As a Buyer at Infranord, you are an important part of building a culture focused on safety, work environment, and good customer service.

The position is located in Boden, Hallsberg, or Gothenburg.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with 2-3 years of experience in qualified purchasing work within vehicle maintenance and/or construction activities, as well as experience from similar purchasing categories. Good knowledge of purchasing in the SAP business system is an advantage.

You have a high school education or work experience that we consider equivalent. Since the position involves coordination, some project management experience and the ability to plan and prioritize in both daily and long-term work are required. A success factor for the role is that you are structured, good at communicating to build trust and motivate those around you. You also have a very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English and possess a high business ethic.

For the position, we see good flexibility and service as important to deliver what we promise to our customers. We place great importance on being attentive and meticulous and prioritizing safety. You also have experience in planning, executing, and following up, as well as ensuring delivery in accordance with set goals and timelines.

A driver's license for a car is considered a given. Likewise, there should be no obstacles to business trips with overnight stays a few times a year.
