Your Responsibilities

Are you an engaged community builder who, with the help of your own and others' expertise, wants to be involved in developing the future's water and sewage systems in Halmstad and Laholm?

In the role of Water Engineer, you will work broadly within all areas of the department's responsibilities, focusing on the pipeline network. This includes investigations and project management, but may also involve representing the company in development work, driving development projects, and working with goals in business and corporate plans.

As a Water Engineer for the pipeline network, you will work with:

• Inflow water – strategically, investigatively, and in project implementations.
• Investigations and project management. Development work.
• Representing the company in development work.
• Expertise internally and externally in investigations and projects.
• Working with external consultants on some of your assigned tasks.
• Participating in the procurement process for some of your assigned tasks.
• Preparing statements and service letters for the company.
• Other tasks related to the role of Water Engineer.

The position is located within the Investigation and Project department, in the group that primarily works with the pipeline network. Here you will be part of a competent and cohesive team consisting of investigation engineers, project designers, water engineers, project managers, and construction managers.

Your Qualifications

To succeed in the role of Water Engineer for the pipeline network, we are looking for someone who wants to be part of a larger context with a focus on preparing for the future's water and sewage infrastructure in Halmstad and Laholm. We see that you have the following experiences:

• Post-secondary engineering education in civil engineering or water and sewage engineering, preferably with a focus on water or equivalent competence that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• Documented work experience in the water and sewage field.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Driving license B.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Several years of documented experience in the water and sewage field.
• Experience working with inflow water.
• Experience working with pipeline networks in water and sewage.
• Experience in similar roles as a consultant or in a water and sewage organization.
• Experience working with mapping and process systems.
• Experience in project management.

You are a person who values good human relationships and is clear but also receptive in your communication. We also see that you are a structured, humble, and driven team player with the ability to work both independently and in a group. You are analytical and solution-oriented. The work places high demands on your communication skills, as much of the work is done in contact with the company's specialist functions, various external parties, and property owners. We place great importance on your personal qualities as a central part of the role involves meetings with other people.
