We are now looking for a Strategic Maintenance Engineer with a focus on Turbines to join the Mechanical Maintenance Strategic group at Ringhals.

About Us

You will be part of the Mechanical Maintenance – Strategic group, which consists of about 18 maintenance engineers responsible for mechanical maintenance at Ringhals. The group works in several technical areas, including diesel, HVAC, pumps, turbines, valves, pipes, tanks, and heat exchangers.

About the Job

In the role of strategic maintenance engineer focusing on turbines, you will work closely with colleagues in an experienced and cohesive group. Together, you will ensure high availability and long-term functionality for the mechanical components included in the area of responsibility.

Your primary responsibilities:

  • Develop, follow up, and improve strategic maintenance plans within your area
  • Analyze technical functions and propose improvements, changes, and modifications
  • Compile technical reports and develop and maintain instructions and guidelines
  • Be responsible for, drive, or participate in change and maintenance projects
  • Follow the technical development in the technical area nationally and internationally, and implement gained experiences to improve operations
  • Contribute to planning work. Follow up and report deviations from planned actions, both economic and technical
  • Act as a purchaser of turbine maintenance from our service provider

Qualifications

About You

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, for example in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a degree as a marine engineer, or equivalent competence acquired through practical experience
  • Experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably with a focus on turbines or hydraulic systems. Experience from related technical areas is an advantage
  • Ability to plan and prioritize your work and handle periods of high workload
  • Very good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English

Meritorious:

  • Certification as European Expert in Maintenance Management or equivalent

As a person, you are structured, analytical, and solution-oriented. You enjoy working strategically, handle complex information, and drive improvement work with persistence and commitment. You naturally collaborate with others and express yourself clearly in both analyses, plans, and technical documentation.
