We are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer for the Building Maintenance group at Ringhals, with primary responsibility for mechanical devices and submersible pumps.

About Us

The Building Maintenance group is responsible for building, land, and building mechanics, submersible pumps, surface treatment, as well as port and fairway. This also includes technical insulation, SBA testing, and parts of the physical protection. The group consists of a group manager, maintenance engineers, supervisors, and technicians who together are responsible for building maintenance at Ringhals. You will be part of an experienced team with broad technical competence and many points of contact.

About the Job

In the role of maintenance engineer, you are responsible for ensuring function, status, and development of:

• Mechanical devices (e.g., doors, gates, barriers, locks, and hatches)
• Submersible pumps

You are technically knowledgeable in your areas and work both operationally and strategically in close collaboration with management, technicians, and the operations organization.

Examples of tasks

• Develop, follow up, and improve maintenance plans
• Perform inspections and condition assessments
• Address deviations that arise in the technical area
• Analyze and improve maintenance efforts
• Drive and execute maintenance assignments
• Participate in facility modification projects
• Work in order systems and contribute to good foresight for operations and maintenance planning

The role also involves financial responsibility and budgeting within the area of responsibility.

Requirements

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in mechanics or a high school education with relevant experience
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. English is used in some contexts, so knowledge of English is therefore an advantage.
• Good computer skills and experience with documentation

Meritorious are knowledge in electricity, control, hydraulics, and pump technology. If you also have work experience in, for example, door and gate service, that is also an advantage.

As a person, you are structured, responsible, and enjoy collaborating. The role may at times involve a high workload, which requires you to be confident in prioritizing and making decisions even when the pace is high.
