About the role

As an Estimator and Construction Engineer at LBC-Ängstorp, you will have an important and business-driving role in the organization. You will be responsible for the entire process from market monitoring and identifying relevant inquiries to completed bids and handover to production for won projects. This is a job that requires both analytical skills, structure, and business acumen, where you become a central piece in the company's continued development. The role involves driving the bidding process forward with clarity and quality, in close collaboration with production. You interpret documents, weigh risks and opportunities, design calculations, and ensure that our bids maintain a high standard and contribute to our long-term profitability. You lead bid selections, present current opportunities, and make recommendations on which projects the business should focus on.

When it's time to prepare a bid, you keep the process together. You call and lead kickoff meetings, distribute tasks, and ensure that internal specialists and site managers deliver the technical and financial documentation required. You prepare detailed calculations, perform quantity calculations, analyze risks, and compile all necessary bid documentation from administrative parts to timelines and appendices. You conduct internal reviews, present the calculations, and ensure that the bid is submitted correctly and on time.

For won projects, you have a key role in the handover to production. Together with the site manager, you establish the production calculation and ensure that it is realistic and adapted to how the project will be executed. You support production at project start and participate in follow-ups where finances, risks, and timelines are monitored. Through structured feedback, you carry lessons learned into future bidding work and contribute to strengthening both the estimating process and the company's profitability.

In short, you are the link between marketing, estimating, and production. An analytical, business-minded, and meticulous problem solver who plays a crucial role in ensuring that LBC-Ängstorp continues to win the right projects and deliver them with high quality.
