to apply for the job

We are now looking for healthcare assistants for full-time positions at Vardaga Home Care Gärdet. We offer a stimulating job and several benefits.

Working in home care is a "free" profession – you get to move around freely and see a lot, which many appreciate. And you meet so many interesting people, says Marianne Andersson from Vardaga Home Care Norrmalm.

At Vardaga, we are in constant development. With us, you can grow as a person while making a difference for others. Our culture is permeated by our values – respect, responsibility, simplicity, and knowledge.

With us, you will receive

  • The opportunity to support people in their daily lives while you grow and develop as a person.

  • A benefits portal with discounts and offers

  • Coaching and supportive managers close to you

  • Clear working methods to provide the best care for our customers

  • Career and development opportunities

  • Wellness grants, shoe allowances, and work clothes

We also have collective agreements, occupational pensions, and associated insurances.

About the role

Your task is to provide quality of life. You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs. The work consists of helping elderly individuals in their own homes with personal care, service tasks such as shopping and cleaning, and responding to safety alarms. The tasks also include performing social documentation and carrying out certain health and medical tasks delegated by a nurse. Thanks to you, our customers can continue to live at home and maintain their lifestyle and habits. At the same time, you develop valuable knowledge about care, service, and aging.

About Vardaga Gärdet

We are a relatively small and intimate unit that needs new team members.

With us, we need a team player who enjoys collaborating and is unpretentious. You will join a group that has worked together for quite a while but is very warm and inclusive.

  • We have a clear organization regarding different roles, routines, and what is expected of our employees out in the field.

  • We have present managers – so our employees receive the support they need.

  • We have a unique working hours model where our employees can largely be offered to work full-time, Monday to Friday, which is unusual in care and support.

  • We have a dementia team with in-depth knowledge in the field of dementia who coach their colleagues in working with our customers who have dementia. Perhaps you would like to become part of the team?

Your experience and knowledge

We believe that you who apply to us:

- are attracted to a job that is varied and understands the importance of good interaction in all situations.

- are a creative person who dares to think for yourself and take responsibility.

- are curious about other people and have a social approach.

We prefer that you are a trained healthcare assistant and have worked for a few years in elderly care. Good computer skills, experience with documentation, and local knowledge are also meritorious. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and the opportunity to grow.
