About the position

Currently, BookBeat's support team consists of a mix of German, Swedish, Polish, Danish, Dutch, and Finnish-speaking support agents who work together to provide the best possible service to BookBeat users. BookBeat is growing and needs to expand the Danish part of the support team. The need is long-term, and shifts are primarily scheduled during weekdays, but weekends may also be required. The role is flexible as you can work from anywhere and is not tied to an office. We are looking for someone who can work at least 20 hours a week.

You will be offered

As customer support, you will primarily answer questions from Danish, Swedish, and English customers in BookBeat's web-based support system. This may include questions about how the service works, technical issues, account settings, sales inquiries, etc. You will have ready-made email templates for the most common questions to assist you in your responses to customers. Your tasks will thus include:

Responsibilities

  • Responding to incoming inquiries regarding content, account settings, and sales from the company's customers via email
  • Answering customer questions in BookBeat's social channels

We are looking for someone who

  • Is a student and has at least one year left of their studies
  • Has previous experience in customer service and administrative work
  • Has excellent knowledge of Danish, Swedish, and English, both spoken and written, as all external communication will occur in all these languages

It is a plus if you:

  • Have excellent knowledge of Norwegian, Finnish, German, Polish, or Dutch

To succeed in this role, you have the following personal qualities:

As a person, you are interested in literature and skilled at expressing yourself in writing. You are curious about how things work and have a good sense of customer service and customer interaction. Since the work is independent, you also need to have good problem-solving skills and be willing to take initiative.
