YOUR ROLE

The work involves meeting, supporting, and assisting individuals with mental and intellectual disabilities based on their wishes and needs. Support is based on implementation plans and clarifying pedagogy, and is done in collaboration with relatives, resource persons, and other workgroups.

In the role of specialist nurse assistant, you contribute with advanced competence in psychiatry and take on increased responsibility in the organization. The assignment involves supporting work towards a holistic view with a focus on the individual, development, and coordination. In addition to the shared responsibility of the workgroup, the specialist nurse assistant systematically works to ensure quality and contribute to the development of the organization from both an individual and group perspective.

Together with the team, continuous reflection on ethical professional approaches and methodologies is conducted to develop and improve working methods. The assignment also includes mentoring colleagues within the specialist area as well as supporting, inspiring, and coaching colleagues in daily work and in the role of contact person. The work also includes participation in quality and improvement work at the workplace.

In parallel with this position, a support educator is also being recruited. Together, the idea is for you to form a team focused on quality and development in the organization.

YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE

The position requires education as a specialist nurse assistant with a focus on psychiatry as well as experience working with individuals who have psychiatric disabilities and illnesses. Experience in mentoring colleagues in the profession is an advantage.

In your work, you are professional and have a strong commitment to person-centered support. Your view of humanity is based on the equal value and rights of all individuals. You also have a good ability to plan, organize, and document your work.

Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement. The role requires sensitivity and the ability to adapt working methods and responses according to the situation and needs. Contributing knowledge, taking part in others' perspectives, and seeing colleagues develop is something you enjoy.

YOUR NEW WORKPLACE

Televägen 1 is a smaller and cohesive organization where several residents live in the same building. The organization is characterized by close collaboration, clear structures, and shared responsibility in daily life.

The work focuses on preventive measures through relationship-building, structure, and a shared approach within the staff group. Daily life can be both calm and active, with joint activities and everyday tasks. Meals such as lunch and dinner are prepared together, and everyone in the workgroup helps out.

The organization is in a startup phase. The workgroup will consist of about ten employees who together staff the organization around the clock. Collaboration is characterized by close dialogue, shared responsibility, and continuity as a foundation.

GOOD TO KNOW

The position is subject to the requirement for a criminal record extract according to law. Before a potential job offer, you must present an extract from the criminal record for work with elderly persons or persons with disabilities. You are responsible for ordering the correct extract from the Police Authority.
