Smurfit Westrock in Sweden covers the entire chain from paper manufacturing to the design and production of selling, efficient, and innovative packaging and products in corrugated cardboard.

At Smurfit Westrock's LithoPac factory in Nybro, we employ about 110 people and produce packaging, display stands, and display packaging in corrugated cardboard for market-leading brands.

We are now looking for summer substitutes for our production in Nybro. As a summer substitute with us, you will start working in May or June, and the position lasts until mid-August.

Your responsibilities

In the role of production worker, you will be responsible for working with machines, setting them up, and monitoring the machines in production. You will work closely with your colleagues while also working independently with responsibility for a machine. The position may also involve forklift driving, so experience with forklift operation is beneficial.

Experience and qualifications

You are preferably a student or have relevant work experience. Applicants with relevant education and/or experience from similar production may be advantageous. It is also beneficial if you have forklift licenses A1, A2, A3, A4, B1, and/or B2. You need to have good physical condition as lifting is part of your tasks.

Personal qualities

To be successful in the role of production worker, you are a positive and proactive person with a meticulous work approach. You find production and technology exciting. You are curious and eager to learn about the business.

To be considered for the position, you must handle Swedish in both speech and writing. Since collective commuting options to the workplace are lacking, you also need to have a B driver's license and access to a car.

About the position

Extent: Full-time starting in May or June 2026 and until mid-August.

Working hours: 2-shift according to the times 05:48-14:18 Monday to Friday and 14:12-22:42 Monday to Thursday. Night shifts may also be relevant.
