About the position

Are you a technically curious and analytical person with an understanding of chemical processes and an interest in the process industry? Then this could be the right opportunity for you! Touch Coating in Vimmerby is now looking for a responsible and committed process operator who wants to work with treatment plants, chemical handling, and forklift driving - in a business where powder coating is at the core of production. The position will initially be filled through staffing via Montico, with the ambition that it will transition to a permanent position at Touch Coating after your consultancy assignment. Alternatively, the position may be filled through a direct employment. This is a full-time position with working hours scheduled during the day, which also gives you an attractive work week with shorter working hours on Fridays.

Job description

As a process operator, you will work to ensure that production and the treatment plant function as they should every day. The role involves managing and monitoring the treatment plant and handling chemicals in a safe and controlled manner. You are responsible for measuring, controlling, and documenting various process values continuously. A large part of the job consists of forklift driving as you load and unload goods, which is a central part of the daily work. Furthermore, you ensure that certificates and environmental requirements are followed and that there is order and cleanliness in the workplace. The work requires precision, responsibility, and a good understanding of chemical processes. You need to be able to plan your work, follow established routines, and work structured across multiple systems simultaneously. The position is practically oriented but also includes control, monitoring, and documentation that are crucial for the business to meet its quality and environmental requirements.

We are looking for someone who

is a responsible and analytical person with a good understanding of chemical processes. You thrive in a structured environment where precision and continuity are crucial. Forklift driving is a significant part of the job, so you need to have a valid forklift license (A1-A4, B1-B4) and feel comfortable handling chemicals. Previous experience in the process industry, understanding of advanced chemical processes, and familiarity with certification requirements and sampling are advantageous. You are analytical and have a practical approach that allows you to plan, prioritize, and perform tasks with precision.
