Vocational Teacher in CNC and Industrial Technology

Do you have experience in CNC or industrial technology and feel ready to take the next step in your career? Or maybe you are already a vocational teacher looking for a new challenge?

We are now looking for two vocational teachers who want to help educate the future CNC operators. You do not need to have worked as a teacher before – the most important thing is that you know the industry and want to share your knowledge.

What does the job entail?

We are looking for someone who wants to be involved from the start as a vocational teacher in a CNC & industrial technology training program. You will be two teachers on site educating about 10 adult students. At Movant, you will have the chance to combine your professional knowledge with a meaningful role as a mentor and educator for adults looking to enter the industry.

As a teacher with us, you will help participants develop both practical skills and theoretical knowledge while also expressing your own passion for your profession.

Your main task is to deliver high-quality education that meets industry requirements and expectations. The best of both worlds - you share your knowledge while watching your participants grow and develop!

As a vocational teacher, you will work closely with participants in a workshop environment and teach:

• CNC
• Industrial technology
• Practical elements in production

You will share your practical experience from the industry and help participants develop into future employees in the field.

Who we are looking for:

• Someone with at least 2 years of professional experience in the relevant industry (industrial technology, CNC) within the last 5 years.
• Experience in sharing your knowledge with adults in the workplace or classroom.
• Ability to adapt teaching to each participant's needs.
• Competence to explain theories and guide practical elements.
• Good computer skills.

It is highly meritorious if you are already a qualified vocational teacher in the subject or have studied pedagogy.

Location

The position is full-time and on-site in the Småland region. We also offer housing options, making the position feasible for those looking to relocate to the area.
