The School Administration, Southwest area, is looking for a cleaner.

The position is a 9-month temporary contract.

Responsibilities

As a cleaner, your tasks will include performing daily cleaning in the school’s premises. You will work according to established methods and instructions to ensure quality and contribute to well-maintained and pleasant environments. We operate under the premise that students and staff in schools should feel good. Therefore, we want you to think from an ergonomic and environmentally conscious perspective. We follow given hygiene regulations and provide you with work clothes for a professional impression towards customers.

It is important that you have a good sense of service and enjoy the responsibility of being a good adult role model in the school. Good communication and collaboration with both students and colleagues in cleaning and other roles at the school are prerequisites for you to thrive. Together, we find the best arrangement for students to have the best possible learning environment!

We work together even in a broader perspective and help each other when needed. Therefore, there may also be work at other schools. The work is performed during the day according to a schedule based on the school’s needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with SRY training or another vocational training in cleaning that the employer considers equivalent. You have several years of experience in cleaning and experience in deep cleaning and floor care.

As a person, you are service-oriented and have a good customer approach. For you, it is natural to be a representative of the organization and to focus on the customer!

You need to be meticulous in your work and take responsibility for ensuring that the work is performed according to schedule. The position also requires that you are flexible and adaptable. You enjoy varied work and can quickly familiarize yourself with new tasks after changing conditions. We also see that you have a very good ability to work together with colleagues.

Since part of the work as a cleaner involves having contact with our customers and being able to work according to a job description, it is required that you can express yourself fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written.

You have basic IT skills for handling personnel systems and email.

Since you are our face to the outside world, it is important for the organization and a given for you to be a good ambassador for the unit. Great emphasis is placed on your personal qualities.
