Moga Returen - Svenljunga Municipality's Recycling Center
Moga Returen is Svenljunga Municipality's recycling center, inaugurated in early 2020. At Moga Returen, residents and businesses can drop off packaging, electronic waste, bulky waste, and hazardous waste. Moga Returen is a modern facility that we are very proud of. Our goal is to contribute to more sustainable waste management, considering both the environment and the economy. In a time when we need to become more circular, we do this together, and all employees are important on this journey. Moga Returen is part of the waste management unit within the community planning department. We have a total of 7 dedicated employees working in various roles for the waste management operations.

There is a lot of exciting development happening in our municipality and our organization. We are currently focusing especially on children and youth. We have made our largest investment in schools ever and built two modern schools in the southern part of the municipality. Our appreciated Family Center will soon be joined by a Children and Youth Center.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Moga Returen offers a wide variety of tasks. An important part is to guide visiting customers in a pedagogical manner to leave the right waste in the correct fraction and to answer their curious questions. You will receive, check, and report hazardous waste. Other tasks include ensuring that the facility is kept clean and performing maintenance on the facility and other equipment. There will be a fair amount of contact with contractors, for example, to order the collection of different types of waste at the facility. Moga Returen is also the starting point for the municipality's container service, which involves changing waste bins for our customers or repairing and maintaining bins that are already placed at customers' locations.
QUALIFICATIONS
We believe that you enjoy meeting people, have strong social skills, thrive in teamwork but also possess the ability to work independently, and have a great interest in a circular society where we use resources wisely. As a person, you are practical and take responsibility for getting tasks done.
The job requires good computer skills as we use several different digital tools in our daily work. You have a B driver's license for manual transmission.
You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
If you have certification for a wheel loader or forklift, and experience in sorting hazardous waste, that is an advantage.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability when filling the position.
