We are now looking for a driven vehicle coordinator for the operation and service of vehicles in the Elderly and Care Administration, Social Administration, and the City Hall Car Pool in Mariestad municipality. A job that involves ensuring that the vehicles are safe, legal, and operational.

You will belong to the Unit for Preventive Service, which is organized under the Elderly and Care Administration, and the reason for our recruitment need is that you will replace our fantastic vehicle coordinator who is retiring!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a vehicle coordinator, you, along with your colleagues, will be responsible for approximately 130 vehicles within the municipality. The work is varied and includes both practical service tasks, planning, and administrative responsibilities. Your main tasks will consist of:

• Ordering new vehicles and managing existing vehicles (fuel cards, insurance, disposal)
• Planning daily assignments and vehicle logistics
• Booking and managing service, inspections, and tire changes
• Performing minor repairs and maintenance
• Cleaning vehicles inside and out
• Handling urgent vehicle matters and arranging replacement vehicles
• Keeping vehicle records, managing driving logs and vehicle archives
• Contributing to increased digitization in the service
• Ensuring the safety of drivers and, by extension, users/patients

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who:

• Is practically oriented, driven, and structured
• Is genuinely service-oriented
• Can work independently and handle rapid changes
• Has good collaboration skills, both internally with immediate colleagues and with those who use the vehicles
• Has both good administrative and digital skills with a drive to contribute to increased digitization and efficiency of the service
• Has a B driver's license
