Maintenance Technician at Danish Crown

We are now looking for an engaged and competent maintenance technician to Danish Crown.

About the Role

As a maintenance technician at Danish Crown, you will be responsible for both planned and emergency maintenance of our buildings, machines, and other equipment. The work will be performed both independently and in collaboration with other employees, where you will continuously be in contact with production staff and production managers as well as external suppliers. You will report directly to our technical manager, who has overall personnel responsibility for the team. With significant investment needs in the coming six years, you will be a central part of our efforts to ensure an efficient and modern facility.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of maintenance technician, we are looking for the following qualifications:

Requirements:

• Good experience in the maintenance industry, preferably with seniority.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
• High technical understanding and experience in troubleshooting and repairing machines.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.

Meritorious:

• Experience in welding, stainless materials, as well as some turning and milling.
• Familiarity with PLC and basic machine electrician work.
• Work and participate in new projects and automation projects.

Your main tasks will include:

• Conducting preventive maintenance to avoid production stoppages.
• Troubleshooting and repairing machines in case of emergencies and replacing components during downtime.
• Installing new equipment, machines, and automated systems and participating in improvement work of existing production lines.
• Documenting maintenance efforts in the maintenance system and interpreting drawings/manuals.
• Participating in training of operators and new employees.
