About the role:

In your role as a Service Technician at Bilbolaget, you will become a key player in the service process and an important part of their workshop team. You will work in a state-of-the-art workshop with modern equipment and technology. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and quality control of various types of vehicles – primarily passenger cars, but also light trucks and motorhomes. With your expertise, you will play a crucial role in creating safe and satisfied customers who are happy to return to Bilbolaget in the future.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing thorough troubleshooting and diagnostics on vehicles.
• Carrying out service and repair work according to work orders.
• Reviewing and approving work orders before invoicing.
• Conducting follow-up checks and test drives to ensure quality.
• Keeping the workplace organized and contributing to order in shared spaces.
• Building long-term customer relationships through professional and positive interactions with customers.

Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM. Flexible working hours from Monday to Thursday may be possible in consultation with your immediate supervisor.

Your profile:

To succeed and thrive in this role, we see that you:

• Have a relevant automotive technical education and documented experience as a vehicle mechanic.
• Hold a valid B driver's license.
• Have a burning interest in automotive technology and service.
• Are meticulous, structured, and quick to grasp new instructions.
• Possess strong administrative and communication skills as well as good computer skills.
