We at Attendo home care in Gävle are now looking for a care assistant for evening work.

About the role

As a care assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and support to our customers. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during meals is a big part of your role, as well as being able to contribute with various activities that brighten the everyday life of our elderly.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Personal care according to the organization's routines based on the customer's individual needs and wishes

• Assist with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc. as needed

• Perform documentation and work based on decided interventions

• Collaborate with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications

• Care assistant education of at least 1350 points.

• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a care assistant.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written)

• Good computer skills/computer familiarity

• Bicycle experience is a requirement

• Driving license B is an advantage

Meritorious:

• Experience in care work in elderly care

• Experience in delegation.
