JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You always start from the positive aspects of each individual and their surroundings, and you provide pedagogical support in everyday life. With a professional and low-arousal approach, you guide and support the users to create conditions for an active and independent life, based on their individual needs and abilities.

Your role includes carrying out various daily activities with the users, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care. Furthermore, you provide social support to the users and manage medications. You also accompany users on leisure activities based on their wishes. As a working method, we use implementation plans that are continuously developed and evaluated in dialogue with the user.

As a support assistant/guide, you are self-sufficient in your professional role and understand the importance of documentation, follow-up, and evaluation to achieve the goals of the operation. The work also involves close collaboration with relatives, representatives, daily activities, and other partners. As a support person, you contribute to creating a clear structure in everyday life, and you actively participate in guidance, workplace meetings, team meetings, and network meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in working with people and who finds joy in making a difference for others in their daily lives. Furthermore, you must:

• Have professional experience in a similar role.
• Have good digital skills and be able to handle digital systems and programs as support in daily work.
• Have completed and can present approved grades in Swedish at least equivalent to grade 9.

It is an advantage if you:

• Are trained as a support assistant and/or nursing assistant.
• Can use sign language and/or signs as support.

To succeed in this role with us, it is also required that you are stable and secure in your interactions. You collaborate well with the people you meet at work and contribute creativity and engagement to make everyday life meaningful and developing for our users.
