We are looking for an experienced procurement officer, preferably with experience in contract procurement.

  • Scope: Full-time 100%
  • Start: Immediately
  • Length: Until 2027-09-30.

You will be employed by Poolia but work at our client's office in Västerås.

Working hours are 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Thursday and 7:45 AM to 3:00 PM on Fridays. Flexible hours are available between 7-9 AM and 3-7 PM Monday to Thursday and between 7-9 AM and 2-5 PM on Fridays.

Total working time per week is 39.5 hours.

There is an opportunity for remote work two days a week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The workplace is at the client's headquarters in Västerås.

About the position

The role of the procurement officer involves conducting procurements from start to finish and providing support to our ordering operations in contract matters. About 85% of the working time is devoted to procurements and about 15% to operational support. The role belongs to the Procurement Unit, which consists of three other procurement officers, a Contract Controller, a Procurement Coordinator, and a Purchasing Manager. Within the unit, we collaborate and are available to each other. The work is carried out with personal responsibility to ensure that the tasks are completed.

As a procurement officer, you will be assigned a number of procurement cases with information on which half of the year the procurement needs to be done. The procurement officer can then continue to plan in more detail when the procurements will be carried out in practice.

Your main tasks

As a procurement officer with us, you have a central role in ensuring efficient, business-like, and quality-assured purchases. You drive your own procurements from start to finish – from needs analysis and dialogue with the ordering party to completed procurement and finalized contract. The procurements include contracts, goods, and services and are carried out in close collaboration with our operations. The role offers significant personal responsibility and the opportunity to influence both working methods and results.

Typical tasks

  • Drive procurements of goods, services, and contracts from needs to contract
  • Conduct procurements according to LOU in close collaboration with the ordering party
  • Provide support for call-offs on framework agreements
  • Ensure contract compliance within the organization
  • Contribute with procurement expertise and internal advice

Who are you?

To be considered for the role, you need to meet the following criteria.

  • At least two years of experience in public procurement work as an ordering party.
  • Post-secondary education in purchasing/procurement, economics, law, or similar education that has provided a good foundation for procurement work.

It is advantageous if you have:

  • Experience in contract procurements.
  • Knowledge of ABT 06, ABK09, and ABFF.
  • Knowledge of property management.
  • Knowledge of construction activities.
  • Experience conducting procurements in the procurement tool TendSign.
  • Work solution-oriented together with others and in your own work.
  • Good at collaborating.
  • Can lead and drive your own work.
  • You must be able to speak, write, and understand Swedish fluently.
