Tuvegården is now looking for two nursing assistants. One of the positions is a permanent employment, while the other is a six-month temporary position.

Tuvegården's elderly care facility has just over 50 apartments for people who need extra support in their daily lives and who need a safe place in their existence. Located by the western shore of Gerdsken, the location is optimal with walking paths and proximity to the lake and its beautiful surroundings. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At Tuvegården, residents should be able to live a good life and have a meaningful daily life. Therefore, a person-centered approach forms the basis of our work with a strong focus on individual abilities and needs.

Your work is based on the resident's implementation plan where needs and support are clarified. The work consists of care and nursing tasks as well as health and medical care tasks delegated by a nurse, including medication and insulin administration. We use digital signing. As a nursing assistant, you also have responsibilities as a contact person and have individual areas of responsibility.

We systematically work with quality registers such as Senior Alert, and we have a well-developed teamwork where you will be an important player. The team includes several professional groups such as assistants, care assistants, nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, administrators, and coordinators. We have team meetings every week where several of our professions participate.

The position primarily involves work in group physical departments, but you should also be able to work in our dementia department. You will start from your home department where you will work the majority of your working hours. Work in other departments is relevant when needs arise in the operations and is a natural part of the job. Scheduling is done via the scheduling system Multiaccess, and the schedule is set for six weeks at a time. This may give you some opportunity to influence your schedule.

Tuvegården is part of Team Söder, which consists of Tuvegården, Ängabogården, Kaptenen, and Hemsjögården. We are a team that works for collaboration and competence exchange, with the user in focus. Working within Team Söder means that you see the value of competence exchange where the whole is as important as the unit where you have your basic setting. While you develop in this competence exchange, you also contribute to developing elderly care to meet future needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with a protected professional title (1500 high school points or high school diploma), and we would prefer that you have previous experience in elderly care.

We highly value good collaboration. Therefore, it is important that you have a good attitude, that you are calm and secure in yourself, and that you find it easy to communicate verbally and in writing. You have good computer skills and experience with various operational systems and find it easy to learn new things.

As a person, you are empathetic and enjoy empowering others in their daily lives so that they feel good. You are good at prioritizing and see opportunities instead of obstacles. The work also requires a very flexible and situationally adapted approach from you. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
