Tuvegården elderly home is a residence with just over 50 apartments for people who need extra support in their daily lives and who need a safe place in their lives. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of specialist nursing assistant at Tuvegården elderly home, you have a special assignment within the unit to contribute to increased quality for both users and employees. You are involved in and drive the work to develop good and safe care, focusing on quality and patient safety. As a specialist nursing assistant, you are a central part of the unit's pedagogical work and contribute with your competence and professional attitude in meetings with both users and relatives.

The work means that you, in addition to working closely with users in the daily work on the department, also have responsibility for guidance and training of nursing staff as well as for incident management. Together with the unit manager and colleagues, you actively work to develop and maintain an operation that is attractive and safe for both our users and employees. You will be part of a competent team of specialist nursing assistants within elderly care in Alingsås municipality.

Tuvegården is part of Team Söder, which consists of Tuvegården, Ängabogården, Kaptenen, and Hemsjögården. We are a team that works for collaboration and competence exchange, with the user in focus. Working within Team Söder means that you see the value of competence exchange where the whole is as important as the unit where you have your basic position. While you develop in this competence exchange, you contribute to developing elderly care to meet future needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a trained specialist nursing assistant with a great commitment to care work and have previous experience as a nursing assistant. You have good computer skills and experience with various operational systems.

You have a salutogenic approach, are attentive and engaged in a way that creates opportunities and conditions for both users and colleagues. You should have a good ability to see the whole and the context while being able to consider the needs of individuals. It is of great importance that you have good collaboration skills and the ability to share information and ideas, both verbally and in writing, in a pedagogical manner. You adapt your communication according to the recipient, target group, and situation. The work also requires a very flexible and situationally adapted approach from you. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
