The tasks primarily consist of handling issues related to the government's management of the Police Authority and developing the government's policy in the area of crime prevention. The tasks also include writing and preparing various types of government decisions and providing material to the political leadership.

Together with professional and knowledgeable colleagues, you assist the government and perform significant work that contributes to Sweden's development. You work at a high pace with a focus on problem-solving and results.

Your background

You have a relevant academic education for the tasks and have current experience working as a case handler with complex issues in the Government Offices or at a strategic level in another government agency. You have good knowledge of Swedish public administration and good knowledge of the management of government agencies.

Experience working with issues within the unit's areas of responsibility is an advantage. Experience working at a strategic level in an agency, close to agency management, in the last five years is also advantageous. If you have good knowledge of the operations of the Police Authority, that is also a merit.

You have excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Other

Permanent employment with an initial probationary period of 6 months. The position is classified in a security class, and a security clearance with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made. You must be a Swedish citizen, but you may have a foreign background.
