Description

We are looking for a care assistant to join our wonderful team in home care Yttre Nord, Timrå municipality, with permanent positions of 3 x 75% and 1 x 80%. We work days, evenings, and every other weekend based on a fixed schedule.

Responsibilities

As a care assistant in home care, you will perform care and service tasks according to the Social Services Act, both based on planned visits and alarms from individuals. Responsibilities also include performing health and medical care tasks delegated by a nurse and rehabilitation staff according to the Health and Medical Services Act.

You work every day to provide good care and service with great consideration for the individual needs of the users in their homes. You will adopt a person-centered and rehabilitative approach, focusing on the individual's self-determination. You will work in a team with various professional roles to provide the user with the best possible support based on their needs and circumstances.

Documentation is an important task, and you are responsible for documenting events concerning the user in social documentation according to applicable legislation. This means you must express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and have computer skills.

In home care, we use the planning tool Life Care and the scheduling tool Löneportalen.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant primarily, but care aides may also be considered for the position. We prefer that you have previous experience working in elderly care.

We need someone who is attentive to our users' needs and has the ability to prioritize the user's needs.

We want you to have good computer skills, and it is advantageous if you have worked with the operational systems we use, such as Life Care, Löneportalen, and phoniro. You express yourself well in speech and writing.

As a person, we see that you have a respectful attitude and are easy to collaborate with, both with colleagues, our users, relatives, and partners. The work is often independent, so it is important that you can take your own initiatives and focus on opportunities and solutions. You are calm and secure and have the ability to plan the activities of the work shift and can quickly adapt and change interventions based on changing circumstances. You are responsible and can work independently as well as in a group. The work requires flexibility.

A driver's license is a requirement.
