ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for care assistants and/or support workers for Skytten Elderly Home in central Lycksele.

We work with people who need support, care, and assistance around the clock. Skytten is a residence in central Lycksele that focuses on activities and making the most of every opportunity to provide the best care possible. Skytten is located by the river and currently has 51 accommodation places divided into 4 groups in newly renovated premises. Here, there is a stable workgroup where many years of experience is combined with new care staff, and we now need to expand our team. Are you our next colleague?

As a care assistant/support worker with us at Skytten, you will work days, evenings, and weekends. There is also the possibility of employment with night shifts. You will be responsible, together with your colleagues, for ensuring that Skytten remains an active residence that meets the residents' expectations regarding safety, activity, and meaningfulness. Within Support, Care, and Assistance, we work to make full-time work the norm and therefore primarily seek full-time employees. We are developing a new organization at Skytten with team leaders and a focus on continuity, and therefore need to strengthen our team with more qualified care assistants. At Skytten, there are currently team leaders in each group, separate kitchen staff, cleaning staff, and a dedicated day activity program. We want care assistants to primarily focus on care tasks and what belongs to the nursing profession.

We are looking for you who are a trained care assistant or support worker and who is passionate about your profession. You should have a rehabilitative perspective, a kind demeanor, and a goal of creating a meaningful existence for someone else. We prefer that you have previously had delegation for medication, especially insulin.

To thrive in the role, it is important that you have good collaboration skills while being able to work independently. It is essential that you can take responsibility and adapt to new conditions. You need to be attentive to individual needs and put the individual's needs at the center.
