About Us

Närhälsan Angered rehab clinic is located in Angered, a lovely part of Gothenburg.

We are a large unit with about 50 employees. Our team consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, administrators, a speech therapist, a unit manager, and team coordinators. Being a large workgroup allows us to learn from each other as we possess deep competencies and specializations in various areas. You will have the opportunity to specialize in different fields based on the needs of the organization. For us, a pleasant work environment, an open climate, and continuous development where everyone helps each other are important. We are currently planning an expansion of our premises.

We have a well-developed approach to many patient groups and now need to expand our teams in mental health, chronic pain, and pediatric patients. Other advanced competencies within areas commonly found in primary care are also valuable.

About the Job

Your tasks include assessing and treating patients of all ages. Common conditions among patients you will encounter as an occupational therapist include: reduced hand function, pain, neurology, cognitive impact, and mental health issues. The work also involves prescribing assistive devices and certificates for housing adaptations. Together with the patient, a personal rehabilitation plan is developed.

The work is conducted at the clinic, digitally, and through home visits. Some work can be performed remotely. Patient treatment occurs both individually and in groups.

The job involves close collaboration with other professionals, both at your own clinic and with other partners. You and your colleagues share responsibility with the manager for the development of the organization in an ongoing improvement process.

About You

You are a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience in the profession and primary care is an advantage, but we also welcome new graduates.

If you have experience and/or interest in working with children, chronic pain, and/or mental health, that is also an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is attentive, has good communication skills, and can identify individuals' unique needs as you meet many different people. Additionally, you see collaboration with colleagues and other partners as a natural and important part of the job, which you perform with commitment and professionalism. You can plan your work effectively and in an organized manner based on the organization's goals. As the workload varies and unforeseen events may arise, we see that you are flexible and independent.

Other Information

Travel in the job may occur. A B driver's license is required.

Interviews at the clinic are planned to be held on February 18 and 20.

About the Recruitment Process

Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite candidates to a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the clinic.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is to help us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
