As our current employee moves on to new challenges within the organization, we are now seeking a team leader for our new ordering unit!
Your role as a team leader
You will be responsible for leading the daily operations and mentoring and supporting case officers and administrative staff. We believe in close leadership and strive for high availability for our employees.
Your main responsibilities include
- supporting and coaching employees in their daily work with guidance in complex cases and situations.
- case distribution
- leading case discussions and following up on ongoing cases
- supporting employees in proposals for decisions on interventions
- supporting employees in legally secure processing and documentation with good quality, primarily according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS)
- supporting employees in statements, appeals, etc.
- participating in the development of the unit's routines and working methods
- together with the unit manager and/or mentor, being responsible for the introduction of new employees
- representing the organization in collaborative forums both internally and externally
- in consultation with the unit manager, managing planning and prioritization during absences and ensuring that daily operations run smoothly.
- being cost-conscious and focusing on maintaining a balanced budget.
- developing our methods and contributing to the overall development of the unit to achieve our goals.
You report directly to your unit manager and are part of the joint management group of the ordering units together with unit managers and team leaders as well as mentors.

Your skills and experience
We are looking for someone who has
- a degree in social work or an equivalent higher education combined with relevant work experience deemed suitable by the employer
- worked as a case officer for several years
- good knowledge of applicable legislation within elderly care and public authority.
It is an advantage if you have worked
- with operational, quality, or method development
- held a leadership position within public authority; team leader, project leader, or mentor

About us in the unit
From January 1, 2025, the ordering unit for elderly care in Hässelby-Vällingby will be divided into two units based on the new management structure. Within each unit, Hässelby and Vällingby, about 20 people work, both men and women, with a wide range of ages and experiences. Within each team, there are case officers, administrative assistants, method developers, as well as team leaders and unit managers.
We are now looking for a team leader for the ordering unit in Vällingby.
Our workplace is Hässelby Square, close to green areas and lunch restaurants. We have a good atmosphere and actively work for a positive work climate with health-promoting activities. We face exciting challenges with a growing district and developing operations. We have high competence and a high level of ambition.
