Kårhusrestaurangen i Luleå AB (STUK) has been the natural place for students at Luleå University of Technology since 1989. The company is owned by Luleå Student Union and the Technology Student Union at Luleå University of Technology. STUK has full rights and is one of the largest entertainment establishments in Norrbotten with varying activities including à la carte restaurant, lunch restaurant, fairs, nightclub, dinners with up to 800 seated guests, and concert evenings with up to 1600 visitors.

We are now looking for an experienced leader for our nightclub who wants to continue developing our nightclub, together with our 250 volunteers, to become the first choice in the area. As the nightclub manager, in addition to planning and executing great events, you will also be responsible for maintaining our policies and routines and ensuring that we meet our performance targets. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the staff follows all applicable laws and guidelines and that the guests' needs are quickly met. In this role, you will work directly under the operations manager and have close collaboration with, among others, the restaurant and kitchen manager.

Your tasks will include:

• Planning & executing events related to our nightclub.

• Leading, training, and supporting our volunteer staff in their work and being their sounding board on issues related to the operations.

• Working focused to achieve performance targets where we would like to see you be creative and come up with your own ideas to achieve the goals.

• Ensuring that the nightclub operations comply with applicable laws & regulations and establishing guidelines for the operations.

• Maintaining safe working conditions.

• Responsible for inventory management & orders as needed.

What we are looking for in our future nightclub manager includes the following qualities:

• 2+ years of leadership experience, preferably in the restaurant industry or nightclub environment.

• Stress-resistant and accustomed to rapid changes and sudden shifts.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Great leadership.
