About the job:
As a Guest Experience Supervisor (GES), you play a key role in leading the daily operations so that the cinema meets its set goals, puts guests first, and provides them with an extraordinary movie experience. With a steady hand, you lead the work in operations, support your colleagues, and create conditions to exceed guests' expectations.
Your responsibilities include, among others:
- Lead and distribute work in operations to create an experience for all our guests.
- Coach and motivate employees to deliver service of the highest quality.
- Ensure high quality in operations by being responsible for compliance with all processes and routines regarding operations and safety.
- Drive our sales by coordinating staffing and ensuring that our employees have the tools they need to deliver at a high level.
- Implement our various marketing activities.
- Scan tickets, guide guests to the right auditorium and film, welcome guests in the auditorium before the screening, and ensure they have a good movie experience.
- Be available to answer questions and assist guests.
- Handle ticket sales as well as sales of popcorn, soda, candy, and some food and beverage products.
- Carry out basic cleaning routines in our auditoriums and premises, including preparation for performances, cleaning restrooms, unpacking deliveries, and restocking items in the store.
Working hours are mainly evenings and weekends between 11:00 PM. Working hours vary each day, and there are late shifts when we have many guests visiting our late screenings that end around 11:45 PM. Each day looks different as you, as a Guest Experience Supervisor, have rotating shifts in operations as well as being a team leader and administrator.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is driven, structured, service-oriented, and passionate about creating memorable experiences for our guests. You are good at coaching, motivating, and inspiring others and have an eye for what needs to be done. You find it easy to prioritize and plan your work and that of others. Your flexibility allows you to easily handle different tasks and quickly adapt to changes, and you manage even stressful situations well. As a reliable and responsible individual, you take your work seriously and ensure you are well-prepared and organized. You enjoy collaborating with different people and are always there to support your colleagues.
To work with us, you need to be proficient in Swedish and have basic knowledge of mathematics and English at the high school level or equivalent (English is our corporate language). Previous experience in service work and as a shift/operations leader is an advantage but not a requirement. We place great importance on personal suitability. Flexibility is important as you must be able to work at varying times and with short notice based on our needs.
