Ystad Traktor and Maskin has always believed in and works for a strong agriculture. We continue to do so today! We support the industry by providing the machines and tools necessary to produce the food that all of Sweden needs. The company is located in Ystad and currently has 13 employees.

Working in the agricultural sector is something special. It is an industry with tradition, pride, and high demands, and for many, agriculture is not just a job, but a lifestyle. During the harvest season, this becomes especially clear: the operation is weather-dependent, and when the machines need to roll, there is rarely room for waiting. If a combine harvester breaks down in the middle of the harvest and rain is on the way, it needs to be resolved quickly, with the right priorities.

Ystad Traktor & Maskin is now looking for a Workshop Manager, as the current workshop manager is retiring.

In the role of Workshop Manager, you will hold a key position in the workshop where you combine leadership, planning, customer contact, and technical understanding. You will plan, lead, and distribute the work for 5 mechanics and ensure that the daily operations in the workshop run smoothly, even when the pace is high.

• Plan, lead, and distribute work in the workshop for 5 mechanics

• Handle incoming customer inquiries and appointments

• Provide price information and manage dialogue with customers

• Identify faults via phone and guide the customer to a solution when possible

• Order spare parts

• Handle warranty and insurance matters

• Invoicing

• Plan and book training for the mechanics

We believe you have a technical background in agricultural machinery and a good understanding of the realities of agriculture. Perhaps you are a mechanic today and want to take the next step towards a more administrative role with a lot of customer contact and responsibility.
