We are now looking for 2–3 junior Data Engineers to join a growing data engineering team in Gothenburg. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a modern, cloud-based environment and help develop scalable data solutions that create business value.

About the role

As a Junior Data Engineer, you will be part of a team that develops, structures, and optimizes data solutions in a Google Cloud environment. You will work closely with the business and combine technical depth with business understanding.

The team uses a modern data stack consisting of Python, SQL, dbt, and Apache Airflow.

Knowledge and experience in:

·         Master's degree in computer engineering, technical mathematics, technical physics, or equivalent technical education

·         Interest in data, programming, and system development

·         Good foundation in Python and understanding of how code is used in data projects.

·         Ability to write SELECT queries, joins, and simpler transformations.

·         Understanding of the basic principles of cloud-based data solutions.

·         Understanding what a data pipeline is and how workflows are structured. No requirement to independently design complex flows initially.

·         Understanding of data modeling and ability to work with SQL transformations under supervision.

·         Social and communicative

·         Ability to collaborate in a team and work closely with the business

·         Unpretentious and curious with a desire to develop

·         Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
