We are now looking for a housing supporter to join our team at Brovägen group home. We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference! The position is hourly employment.

About Brovägen. The Brovägen residence is located in Vagnhärad, about 45 minutes south of Stockholm and 30 minutes from Södertälje and Nyköping by car. It is within walking distance to a shopping center with a grocery store, pharmacy, swimming pool, library, restaurants, and cafes. In the center, there is also a train station from which it is quick and easy to reach the big city. There are six apartments, four with their own entrances and two that share an entrance. A large beautiful garden surrounds the houses, and there are plenty of opportunities for recreational activities in the area.

About the role In the role of housing supporter, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical perspective. Together with other staff, you will work towards making each day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call shifts.

You will have a group leader or group manager nearby who works part-time in the operation. This could also be a future career opportunity for you.

Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in health and care or equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.

You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, always keeping our users' best interests in mind in everything you do.
