We are now looking for a new manager for the Cleaning and Patient-related Services area, as the previous area manager has moved on to another assignment within Regionservice. The operation is responsible for cleaning and related service tasks at hospitals, health centers, dental clinics, and administrative operations. The assignment also includes patient-related services, which involve tasks close to patients in care departments.

The Cleaning and Patient-related Services team consists of approximately 240 employees.

About the Role

As a manager in Region Halland, you are tasked with steering and leading with a focus on results, as well as engaging and motivating your employees. The role carries full responsibility for operations, finances, and personnel, and you are expected to actively take initiative and drive operational development.

The region is facing significant changes with new hospitals to be built, which will affect how services and offerings are designed.

You will work systematically with workplace safety issues and are responsible for ensuring that operations are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation and regulations. This includes representing the employer and collaborating with trade unions.

The role involves managing multiple stakeholders and target groups while maintaining good cooperation. Since the operation is financed by agreements with customers, ongoing management of these is required.

You will manage a team of managers, leading through 6 department heads and support resources that you gather in your management group.

The role is part of the management group of the administration, crisis organization, and reports to the head of administration. The region applies four-year managerial appointments, where you are permanently employed in a core profession.

The place of employment is Halmstad, travel occurs, primarily within the county. Working hours are Monday to Friday.

About You

We are looking for someone with several years of leadership experience within a larger service organization with a high proportion of collective agreement employees. Experience as a manager of managers is required.

You have the desire to lead, take responsibility for operations with high demands on your own performance. You need good skills in financial management as well as staffing and production planning to ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with agreements.

You have knowledge of labor law from an employer's perspective.

You possess a clear communicative leadership style and experience in leading change and driving development. You are confident in yourself, willing to stand by decisions made, both your own and those common to the region, and have the ability to analyze the current situation and expected effects.

You collaborate well with multiple stakeholders and see and take responsibility for the whole, both within your own operations and within the region. You have good strategic ability, a long-term perspective, and work in a structured and systematic manner.

As a person, you have good insight into how your behavior affects others. You lead through other managers and in close and good cooperation with support resources. In your management group, you create a sense of team, engagement, and motivation. You utilize the support functions available to create the best possible conditions for the operation.

It is advantageous if you have a relevant higher education or equivalent knowledge. A driver's license is a requirement for the position.
