The Ambulance Service Luleå is an ambulance station where we work together around the clock, every day of the year, with pre-hospital emergency care, with the vital task of providing care and support to patients of all ages. We are looking for

We are now looking for you who are an ambulance nurse with at least 3 years of continuous possession of a B driver's license. You should have good physical condition as heavy lifting occurs in the work. Therefore, physical tests will be conducted before employment. We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience in emergency care. It is also advantageous if you have a C driver's license. Otherwise, we would like you to obtain this within a year after employment with us.

This is what you will work with

In ambulance care, you meet patients of all ages who have suffered from acute illness or injury either in their homes, outdoors, or at accident sites. Together with an ambulance nurse, you form a team that is often first on the scene in case of serious illness or accidents. Together with the ambulance nurse, you make the initial assessment. In ambulance care, each intervention involves unique situations and challenges where your help can be crucial and make a real difference.
The ambulance service is organizationally its own unit within acute care. The team works together and also collaborates with other professional groups such as emergency departments, municipalities, rescue services, and police.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent position. Working hours are around the clock with split shifts. Start date 2026-04-01.

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
