You are offered a stimulating assignment as a coordinator for ICU and Postop C-op. As a coordinator, you are a leading ICU nurse who, in consultation with the unit manager and responsible specialist doctor, works to achieve good coordination and communication within the unit and towards other units. You participate in a network with other coordinators and are offered tailored training. You combine the role of coordinator with clinical duties. We apply individual schedules and provide you with a customized introduction.

As an employee with us, you are an important part of the development of intensive care, and you have the opportunity to participate in a cross-professional development group with various themes, including ventilation, sedation, and hygiene. You will also participate in 1-2 study days each year where we highlight and discuss the latest findings in intensive care and how they should be implemented with us.

As an ICU nurse, you are part of a strong cross-professional team, which we value and have strengthened in recent years through regular internal training and nursing supervision. The focus of the Intensive Care Unit is general intensive care for adults.

In the postoperative department, patients from surgery, urology, and orthopedics are cared for, as well as women's health during on-call hours.

Employment Type

Days and evenings, weekly working hours 38:15 hours/week full-time.

Three shifts, weekly working hours 34:20 or 36:20 hours/week full-time.

Nights, weekly working hours 32:20 hours/week full-time.

Qualifications

Requirements: ICU nurse with experience in intensive care.

Meritorious: Experience in improvement work and leadership.

About the Operation

The area of Anesthesia and Intensive Care is characterized by high quality and a stable group of employees in all professions. In addition to anesthesia, which consists of four operating rooms within surgery/urology, orthopedics, gynecology/obstetrics, day surgery, as well as ENT and dental anesthesia and external operations, the area also has postoperative departments, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Pain Clinic, National Respiratory Center (NRC), and Sterile Technique. We are a large operational area with approximately 400 employees. Annually, about 24,000 anesthesias are performed in about 25 operating rooms. Our mission also includes education, clinical research, and development.
