With us, nursing assistants and nurses work together, and the healthcare area is also led by nurses. We provide care in several different areas such as internal medicine, surgery, orthopedics, geriatrics, and palliative care. We are a total of 360 people distributed across nine wards and ASIH, currently having 173 care places.

About Ward 18

Ward 18 is an acute somatic care ward with a surgical focus, and we have both an acute and elective patient flow. Your responsibilities as a nurse include nursing responsibility for patients with surgical diagnoses. Daily tasks include medication administration, rounds, documentation, and supervision of students. Interest in technical aspects, such as nutrition via pump and nursing and monitoring of patients with EDA, is therefore necessary.

If you are newly graduated, we offer you a safe start to your career through introduction and guidance in the ward. As a newly graduated nurse, you will also participate in the hospital's New Graduate Program, which combines skills training, lectures, and group discussions. For those with previous experience or as a specialist nurse, there are great opportunities to utilize your knowledge in several different nursing areas with us.

You are responsible, creative, and have a genuine interest in developing nursing in the ward, and you appreciate varying pace during your shifts.

Requirements:
Licensed nurse with the right to practice within Swedish healthcare.

Meritorious:
Previous experience from an acute somatic care ward.

Employment Form

Permanent employment, full-time. 3-shift.

As a nurse within a 24/7 operation, a work time agreement applies with the possibility of a retention bonus (in time) and reduced weekly working hours for night work. If you work concentrated weekends and more scheduled nights, you also have the opportunity for additional earned time that can be taken out in time off, money, or pension contributions.
