Within the business area of Water and Wastewater, about 60 employees work with the production and distribution of drinking water as well as the treatment and transport of wastewater. We are also responsible for an important part of the critical infrastructure in Borås. Here you will encounter a high-tech environment with both older and completely new facilities where technology, operations, and innovation go hand in hand.

As an electrician in the maintenance department, you will be an important part of the daily operations. Here you will work both independently and together with colleagues in a 24/7 operation that is constantly moving forward.

Your tasks

You will work with:

·         Preventive and corrective maintenance in our process facilities

·         Troubleshooting and repairs related to control and regulation equipment

·         Inspection, calibration, and replacement of sensors, motors, control devices, and communication equipment

·         Interpretation of drawings and manuals as well as familiarizing yourself with our process flows

·         Work at heights with boom lifts and scissor lifts

·         Participation in larger planned maintenance work, including switching off and on high-voltage systems

Your background and personal qualities

We are looking for someone who has:

·         A high school education with a focus on electrical/automation or equivalent knowledge

·         A few years of work experience in industrial electronics, process industry, or similar experiences that the employer deems equivalent

·         Good Swedish skills in speech and writing

·         Good computer skills

·         A B driver's license (manual transmission)

·         On-call duty may be included in the position

·         It is a merit if you are an authorized electrician.
