Care Assistants Needed at Väst-Teg Care and Support Home

Väst-Teg Care and Support Home is a newly built municipal facility located in Väst-Teg.

The facility opened in the autumn of 2024. There are a total of 120 apartments distributed across 12 units, each consisting of 10 apartments. Each unit has its own spacious balcony. On the ground floor, there is a café and a glazed outdoor area. Väst-Teg also features a production kitchen.

We are now looking for two dedicated care assistants to join our team!

Your Responsibilities

With a professional approach and a good attitude, you will assist our residents in their daily lives. The residents' right to participate in decisions is a priority, and you will contribute to ensuring that services are delivered with high quality, in accordance with care decisions and implementation plans.

You will assist with personal hygiene, laundry, cleaning, meals, and other services. Your responsibilities will also include documenting actions and health conditions, as well as performing medical tasks as delegated by the responsible nurse.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant, and we would prefer if you have experience in elderly care.

Your interactions with residents require good skills based on personal suitability, maturity, and empathy. You demonstrate a strong commitment to both users and the organization in all relationships and actions. You enjoy working independently, are patient, and take initiative. You have the ability to collaborate with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals. Personal suitability is highly valued.

To communicate with users, relatives, and colleagues, write and access care documentation, and receive medication delegation, you must have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written forms.

Heavy lifting may occur, and mobility aids should be used. Smoking is permitted in the workplace, so you should not be allergic.

Employment Information

Two permanent full-time positions, starting as soon as possible by agreement. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.
