Your responsibilities

Work in home care is varied and meaningful, focusing on creating security, independence, and quality of life for the individual in their own home. A central part of the tasks is to provide personal care based on individual needs and implementation plans. This may involve assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, transfers, meals, medication reminders, and support with daily routines. The work is carried out with respect for the individual's integrity, self-determination, and dignity. The assignment also includes being attentive to changes in the user's health condition and well-being and, if necessary, reporting to the responsible nurse or management.

Collaboration with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals is an important part of the work to ensure safe and secure care. Documentation is a significant part of the tasks. You will document continuously in the organization's operational system according to applicable legislation and guidelines. The work requires responsibility, structure, and a good ability to plan and prioritize while maintaining a professional and empathetic approach in interactions with each individual.

Requirements
- You have training as a care assistant or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
- Documentation and communication are important parts of the work. Therefore, you need to have good computer skills and be able to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.
- The work involves heavy transfers, stair climbing, and a high pace of movement, which requires you to have good physical ability.
- A B driver's license is a requirement.

Meritorious
- Knowledge of the Social Services Act and its application in care and support.
- Experience working as a care assistant in home care or similar services.
- Ability to communicate in additional languages besides Swedish.
- Participation in relevant further education and training efforts within the profession.
