The Care Office is undergoing a significant transformation due to the new Social Services Act. To meet the law's intentions for a more preventive, accessible, and knowledge-based social service, we are now seeking an operations strategist to lead and drive the transformation work. The Care Office is responsible for services to the elderly and people with disabilities. We work on behalf of the care committee and the elderly care committee. You will belong to the quality and development unit, which is part of the Care Office's staff. The working group consists of colleagues who are operations strategists, MAS (medically responsible nurse), MAR (medically responsible for rehabilitation), and executive secretaries.
Your responsibilities
As one of the operations strategists within the Care Office's staff, you will support and drive the change work related to the implementation of the new Social Services Act.
Some examples of work areas:
- Strategic planning to translate the intentions of the legislation into practical work
- Collaborate with managers, employees, support functions, and external actors
- Contribute to competence development and shared understanding of the new legislation
- Ensure a holistic perspective where quality, legal security, and operational benefit are considered
- Draft decision matters for the committees

Requirements:
- Degree in social work or other relevant academic education deemed equivalent
- Several years of experience working within municipal social services
- Good knowledge of current and new social services legislation
Meritorious:
- Experience from working in elderly care and/or disability care
- Knowledge of or experience working according to SoL and/or LSS
- Experience of operational change work
- Education in project or change management
Personal qualities:
- Structured, self-driven, and solution-oriented
- Unpretentious and relationship-building
- Development-oriented with the ability to create engagement and participation
- Ability to see the whole while managing details
- Experience in project management and/or change management
- Ability to work strategically and operationally in a politically governed organization
- Good analytical skills and experience in quality and follow-up work
- Very good communication skills in spoken and written Swedish
- Ability to plan, structure, and drive complex processes
