About the Role
Do you want to work with the analysis of business potential and enjoy working when the approach is not always obvious? Then this opportunity as our new Business Case Manager might be for you!
We are growing and are currently looking for two individuals to join us as Business Case Managers. In this role, you will analyze opportunities ranging from smaller projects in our existing facilities to the construction of new facilities in the multi-billion class, such as hydrogen production or new nuclear power. Much of the work performed within the group requires an understanding of both the big picture and the details. This is to provide the basis for investment decisions, negotiations, and new business ideas. The materials are based on both qualitative and quantitative analyses where valuation models and scenario analyses are fundamental.
You will be part of an engaged team that works closely together. You will have the opportunity to work towards several different parts of Vattenfall, such as nuclear power, new nuclear power, hydropower, and other interesting business areas.
We know that our employees are the key to our success. For us, your development is important, and therefore we will always encourage you to use your skills and provide you with opportunities to grow through new challenges, training, and knowledge transfer. With us, you will have the trust to act with great freedom and responsibility, which, together with good working conditions and mutual trust, provides high flexibility and balance between work and private life.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
- A degree with a technical or economic focus
- Strong analytical skills with the capacity to identify risks and opportunities in complex businesses
- The ability to present business cases clearly and convincingly to decision-makers
- The ability to find a way forward in work when the path from start to finish is not given
- Is a strong team player
We place great importance on your personal qualities. We are looking for someone who thrives in an environment where both analysis and communication are central to everyday life. You have a strong analytical ability and appreciate delving into complex issues while being able to explain your insights in a pedagogical and engaging manner.
To thrive in the role, you need to approach new situations with curiosity and calm. You should be comfortable and able to work effectively even when the way forward is not obvious. You value collaboration, listen to others, and contribute to an inclusive environment where different perspectives are taken into account. The position requires good communication skills both in writing and verbally in Swedish.
