Job Responsibilities

The work consists of supporting clients with care as well as service tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping. All based on what the clients have been granted in terms of services according to the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act. An individualized approach is the focus of the work, where social documentation is an important part. Your tasks include participating in team meetings, care planning, and documenting according to legal requirements. As a care staff member, you play a key role in a team with a nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist who work closely together.

The location for this position is Edsbyn. Home Care in Edsbyn is divided into several smaller areas, and when necessary, care staff may cover other areas/units.

Experience

It is an advantage if you have previous experience working in elderly care, specifically in home care, as well as education and experience working with individuals with various forms of dementia/psychiatry and extensive care needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with approved grades from the nursing and care program or equivalent. You need to be able to provide proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare for a protected professional title.

To thrive with us, you should have a genuine interest in working with people. You need to be flexible, responsible, independent, attentive to others' needs, have a good sense of service, and the ability to collaborate. As a person, you are good at structuring, planning, and prioritizing.

It is required that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, as communication and documentation are important and prominent parts of the job responsibilities. This means that you need to have approved grades in Swedish at the basic level course 4 or equivalent to compulsory school (Grade 9), as well as good computer skills.

To be able to work with us, you need to have a mobile Bank-ID.

The schedule includes shifts during the day and evening, as well as working every other weekend based on the needs of the clients and the organization.
