About the Position

The Swedish Armed Forces' Technical and Maintenance Office Logistics (TVK Log) is seeking two logistics officers for the Personal Equipment section. We are in the midst of an exciting journey where we are growing and need more personnel. Therefore, we are looking for reinforcement to help us optimize and coordinate the Armed Forces' material supply. About the Unit

TVK Log is a central actor in the Armed Forces' logistics management. We are responsible for ensuring that supplies and equipment are available and meet the needs of combat units - in peace, crisis, and war. This also means that we create the conditions required for the Armed Forces' sustainability in areas such as fuel, food, and ammunition.

The unit consists of approximately 110 employees with broad expertise in technology, logistics, and management. TVK Log mainly consists of civilian personnel with an even distribution between women and men. The management is located in Boden, but we are represented in several locations across the country. Our work is based on trust, collaboration, and a clear mission - to enable accessible combat units through the right material at the right time.

Main Responsibilities

As a logistics officer within personal equipment, you will have a responsible assignment, which includes:

  • Ensuring that personal equipment is available in the right place, at the right time, and distributed according to the needs of different units
  • Working with analyses and preparations
  • Monitoring material availability
  • Participating in the drafting of documents and directives
  • Developing processes and routines that make the supply even more efficient

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 3-year upper secondary education with approved final grades
  • Good experience with support systems in the logistics or technology field, e.g., SAP or similar production or business systems
  • Driver's license B.

Personal Attributes

As a person, you have very good collaborative skills while being able to work independently. You are development-oriented, driven, and take your own initiatives. The position requires good analytical skills and a well-developed ability to see connections. You are communicative and pedagogical and are skilled at expressing yourself in both spoken and written Swedish and English. You will have significant responsibility for solving assigned tasks, which requires you to prioritize and work in a structured manner. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Meritorious

  • Documented knowledge and experience regarding personal equipment such as clothing and protective gear
  • Documented experience in drafting documents, directives, and manuals.

Other

The employment constitutes a permanent civilian position full-time. A six-month probationary period applies for those who are not already permanently employed within the Armed Forces.

Work location: Boden

Travel in the service may occur.

Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement.
