You have built your foundation in software, electronics, and/or embedded systems. You know your technology and understand the details, but are looking to broaden your perspective. Perhaps you are particularly attracted to the idea of working closely with cybersecurity and complex embedded systems where software, electronics, and mechanics interact in advanced environments. In the role of systems engineer, you are the one who sees the big picture and thus the person who makes all parts of the system fit together.

As a systems engineer, you will be at the center of the latest technology ranging from IR cameras, lasers, to control and regulation systems to cybersecurity. You work at the heart of secure communication and robust architectures in an exciting company within the defense industry.

As a Systems Engineer, you are the one who:

• Translates customer and business needs into technical requirements
• Breaks down complex functions into realizable system designs
• Ensures that software, electronics, and mechanics work together
• Drives requirements management, integration, verification, and validation
• Keeps the dialogue between development teams, project management, and customers cohesive

You step partly out of the lines of code – but never away from the technology. Instead, you become the one who ensures that the whole works in reality.

We believe you have worked for a few years in:

• Software development (preferably embedded systems)
• IT security or cybersecurity
• System development
• Electronics-related development

Perhaps you have experience from the defense industry or other security-critical operations – and understand what it means to develop robust, reliable systems where nothing can fail. Now you want to take on greater responsibility by understanding and influencing the entire system.

Furthermore, we see that you have very good knowledge of Swedish and English.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday.

The position requires that you undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where the customer has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, involve requirements for certain citizenship.
