Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a large number of drivers with a C driver's license! Renova is growing and getting new assignments, so we need to hire more skilled and friendly drivers, both for summer jobs and permanent positions.

A varied and free job, involving the collection and emptying of waste and materials. You will plan your assigned routes considering time, environment, and economy, as well as accuracy for our customers, and you will have continuous communication with team leaders and traffic management. The job also includes daily inspection and maintenance of the vehicle.

What Does a Day Look Like?

• Collection and transportation of waste and materials in Gothenburg and surrounding municipalities.
• Planned driving considering time, environment, economy, and accuracy.
• Communication with team leaders and traffic management.
• Daily inspection and maintenance of the vehicle.

At Renova, we have several different types of vehicles, including:

• Rear-loading vehicles (garbage trucks)
• Container trucks
• Lift dumpers
• Jetting and suction trucks
• Tailgate trucks
• Cranes

The locations we operate from are Gothenburg (Holmen and Säve), Kungälv, and Stenungsund.

Our working hours are mostly during the day on weekdays, but there are also shifts in the evenings and/or weekends.

Qualifications

You need to have:

• C driver's license
• YKB
• Driver card
• Ability to speak, understand, and write Swedish at an independent level
• Good computer skills
• Good physical condition

For certain vehicles/jobs, the following is also required:

• CE license
• ADR
• Cranes license

Who Are You?

You are meticulous and work focused on details to ensure high quality in your work. With a positive and solution-oriented approach, you are service-minded and ensure that those we serve are satisfied. You have good collaboration skills, actively listen, and show respect for others while working towards common goals. Additionally, you are independent and take responsibility for your tasks by making decisions within your assignment and driving the work forward.

Employment Type

We are looking for both summer temp workers (2-5 months) and permanent employees. Perhaps you have worked for a few years and want a change; this is a great opportunity to apply to us as we are looking for several people for permanent employment. Or you may just want to work over the summer, which is also fine. If you are applying for the summer, you need to be available to work during weeks 26 to 33.
