We within the area of healthcare and social services are responsible for municipal care and support within the elderly and disability sectors. Our employees have expertise in the medical, behavioral, and social fields, as well as in language and culture. We always focus on the customer's needs and provide each customer with a good reception, excellent service, security, and influence. Our work is characterized by responsibility, meetings, and interaction with other people. We are now looking for you who want to be part of our team at Skånsta group home.
Your new job
You will work at our group home in Skånsta. The position involves close collaboration in a team, where we work with joint planning and support each other across boundaries. This also includes working in other operations within the local area as needed.
The customers live in their own apartments and require individually tailored support with planning, structure, and execution of daily activities. We also strive to ensure that customers have a stimulating leisure time with activities as needed, such as walks, gym, swimming, etc. All work is permeated by the individual's needs and is based on respect and participation.
We offer varied tasks based on each customer's unique needs. The group home is the individual's home, which requires you as an employee to be attentive and respect the customers' integrity. The work involves providing long-term and goal-oriented support as well as creating security and comfort with great respect for the individual's right to self-determination.
The work also includes being a support person and maintaining daily social documentation. Based on each customer's implementation plan, we should offer individually tailored support in daily living.
Together, we work to create a workplace where we set high goals, share knowledge, are curious, and have fun. We always put the customer's interests first! The operations determine how the schedule and staffing look. Staff work on a schedule that includes day and evening shifts as well as awake night shifts.
Your profile
We are looking for you who:
- Have completed upper secondary education in the healthcare and social care program with a specialization in disabilities, or alternatively, the child and leisure program with a focus on social or educational work. Alternatively, other education/experience that the employer assesses as equivalent.
- Master the Swedish language well in both spoken and written form.
- Have good computer skills and basic knowledge of social documentation.
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience working in LSS operations and knowledge of various diagnoses including neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF).
- Experience with challenging behaviors.
- Experience with clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal responses.
We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
